A massive thank-you to, Team Builder.
And why the freaking hell haven't I started playing just on this?
That's right dear reader, Kumi here just queued up into normals on blind pick where It haves a high chance that you'll get:
And on my first game of today I got exactly one of each. Which made me think if league even haves a chance on getting better on that aspect of things.
First off I called my lane, but quickly had to stuck with supporting because a guy called carry. Until then was alright, I don't mind supporting just don't put me on a lane I don't easily get through the entire game.
We get to the game and what happens. Carry is away from the Keyboard.
Fiora and Darius had been fighting since champion select to call Top and actually settled on duo top only for a minute later, Darius called jungling but requested no help whatsoever.
Until then okay, rough start, we can still have hope.
Meanwhile almost twenty minutes into game and was chaotic. Fiora flaming, Fizz flaming and disconnecting again and again. Tristana still chilling in base. Darius going alone and dying.
Pretty much a average day in League.
Then after all ending. Queued up in Team Builder, was tired of getting a rough start and ending up in lost.
Locked in Marksman and went for it.
The time of waiting isn't so long, more is when the team isn't yet complete and we still need someone to fill the lanes/roles that are left.
And like I said in the beginning, why haven't I done this more often. Why let myself get tortured in Blind Pick with people who don't even know how to cs.
Everything in Team Building is made correctly.
Our top laner was what we call a massive tanky beast and teleported whenever needed. Our Jungler knew how to gank and smite.
Our mid laner roamed when needed and was doing fine.
My support was buying wards and protecting everyone, I got that Lulu that shits on people, That's the best Lulu.
And me, well, again against a Caitlyn and a Sona. Got poked hard, but farmed up and outbursted her. Jungler helped and Lulu was a great support.
After all, ended in Victory.

Jinx, The Loose Cannon
"Jinx lives to wreak havoc without a thought for consequence, leaving a trail of mayhem and panic in her wake. A manic and impulsive criminal, she despises nothing more than boredom, and gleefully unleashes her own volatile brand of pandemonium to the one place she finds dullest: Piltover. With an arsenal of deadly toys, she unleashes the brightest explosions and loudest blasts - all the better to shock and surprise the hapless authorities. Always just out of the law's reach, Jinx's favorite game is to toy with Piltover's finest - especially Vi.
Piltover had long been known as the City of Progress, a place where peace and order reigned. That serenity was challenged when a new kind of criminal arrived, the likes of whom had never been seen. This mysterious outlaw unleashed a series of warped and destructive capers that endangered the entire city, and left its people reeling from the worst crime spree in Piltover's history.
As the string of crimes without rhyme or reason hit the city, sightings of the lawbreaker emerged. Though the young woman's origins were a mystery, some saw traces of Piltover hextech in her firearms, while others described the street fashions of Zaun in her dress. Because her arrival always brought trouble with it, those who crossed her path soon gave her a name: Jinx.
Jinx's rampage escalated. Caitlyn - the sheriff of Piltover - responded by declaring a state of emergency and organizing a city-wide manhunt. In typical Jinx fashion, the criminal marked the Piltover treasury, the city's most secure building, with a direct challenge to its most abrasive officer. With a caricature of Vi's face splashed across the treasury's facade, and with a time and date of her supposed raid, Jinx was openly daring the enforcer to stop her from robbing it.
Determined to put the troublemaker behind bars, Vi watched and waited outside the treasury until Jinx's time had finally come. True to her scrawled promise, the smiling menace showed her face. Knowing this was her chance to capture the outlaw, Vi gave chase into the building's interior. She smashed through wall after wall to chase down Jinx, who giggled as she lit up the evacuated treasury with fiery explosions. Vi finally cornered the criminal inside the vault, but Jinx wasn't done just yet. With a maniacal laugh, she fired a barrage of rockets, bringing the entire building down upon them both.
When Vi finally crawled out of the ruins, the battered enforcer found no trace of Jinx. Adding insult to injury, not a single ounce of gold had been taken from the ruined vault. Instead, the criminal left a parting message to her favorite officer of the law - a challenge only now visible through the gaping opening in Piltover's skyline. The lights of the city spelled out a simple taunt: you'll never catch me. As Vi read the message, she heard the distant laughter of her new nemesis, and the city plunged into utter darkness for the very first time."
I admit I never was great at Carrying games, I wasn't even good at cs'ing to start of. But I tried and commited on getting better. Asked friends for help plus had one who used to play league professionally as a Attack Damage Carry and at least waisted his time with me in customs to help me out and repair the flaws I once had.
I got better at cs'ing, always checked the time in the game and my creep score to check if I was doing fine or needed to concentrate more and stay a little more in lane.
Poked the opposite teams carry and win trades, also more importantly and still making sure I get better day by day. On every carry I use is:
Learning to Kite.
And that is a test for myself every single time I call bot lane and try my hardest to carry my team. Farm it up and obliterate the enemy.
Today I felt like getting jinxed. Not because first thing I did when I opened my League was to purchase Riot points to purchase a skin [Mafia Jinx] and what I needed the most, a extra runepage for my Tanky supports/Junglers.
Moving on, for starters in champion select I noticed my team was in sync. Everyone called their lanes, I waited and didn't called for anything until was two spots left. The other guy, who supported me, was considered enough to ask me which I preferred. Only replied I could do both, so he locked in Support Thresh.
And I my lovely Jinx.
I needed to dust her off, get a feel of her craziness level again, snipe people across the map. She somewhat completed me since the day she was released. - Still remember how much time I spend playing games to acquire enough Influence points to get her soon she got released and man, what a Champion.
Unfortunetly for me I was laning against a Caitlyn which is only the only Carry in the game with the biggest range and the Suicide Bomber we call Zilean.
Only thing then I put as priority was farming. Try to outscale her and stay in lane as much as I could.
Lucky for me, my support barely missed a hook. Immediately responded by landing my flame chompers once he flayed them to me and continued dealing damage with my cannon and zap.
The end not once I won the lane but also got to the point so fed that was hard to burst me down, since our frontline was good, our thresh as well. And I, well preocupied by dealing damage but not getting caught. Staying behind was important.
By the time they forced a fight at the Baron and we came on top and getting Baron as well for ourselves wasn't long until they surrender.
I think the key in all this was trying to outscale Caitlyn, staying calm and just farming. Don't do anything to crazy unlike the champion's personality [Cuz' Dat Jinxy tho, She Cray] also having a good support, someone you can trust and follow, that make the right calls and know we can come on top everytime.

Miss Fortune, The Bounty Hunter
One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandanna. Miss Fortune has a strong distrust for pirates and she finds herself constantly bickering with the infamous Gangplank (the only captain to resist her charms) over the direction of Bilgewater politics. Her two goals: to unite the people of Bilgewater, making them into a strong and independent society, and to find the pirate who killed her mother. To that end, she has entered the League of Legends as a champion, trading her skills for the wealth and influence that will help her accomplish both." On my previous games, playing as Miss Fortune, I had my ups and downs. First the downsides, on all my Miss Fortune games (Not counting with those I've went to the mid lane as the referred champion and not particulary using Ability Power.) - Because Ability Power Miss Fortune does work, but haves it's Pros and Cons in the progress. It is not the fact I lose my lane, but yes the fact after laning fase the opposite team ends up snowballing and us loosing the control we once had since the beginning. - Loosing towers, getting caught and most importantly, not getting objectives. Because our team was rulling since the beginning with kills that their thirst for more blood would end up in them getting caught and killed. And that could be clearly seen on one game in particular. We were getting objectives. Getting towers down, slaying the dragon, immediately entering into a teamfight and coming on top and rushing for a Baron. All was well, when our top laner and Jungler wouldn't listen to the pings for danger or retreat and went to seek for more blood spilled but ending up getting caught, again and again. With them waiting to respawn, the opposite team quickly retreated and rushed for the Baron to secure a major lead compared to us and help them push to the Nexus. Knowing that they had started, Orianna being the one who most dealt damage compared to the rest of the other team and our Inhibidor Tower and Inhibidor already down, with the super minions already pushing to our base and the rest trying to farm them all before damaging more towers or our exposed Bottom lane inhibidor, I left. To the Baron pith. They were "smart enough" to leave vision, I stood just outside and ulted (R-Bullet Time) and got it for myself. - Stole the baron for us, to give us still hope we could push them away and claim victory to ourselves. But went downhill, the same two rushed to soon for us to get into a teamfight. Them getting caught and I almost getting caught in the process. Resulted in defeat, but I stood proud of at least trying. Over and over. I couldn't possibly win it alone. It requires teamwork in the progress of carrying it. And that game lacked of it. People making choices and calls at the wrong time without the rest of the team. Now for the Ups "of it", it's when you play as a team. Also it helps when you are playing with people you trust to support you. That you know their play style and know exactly when to follow or not. Communication is important on a game. Without it, It's complicated. Etiquetas: games, leagueoflegends, missfortune, reviews |
When I was a young girl I never got excited about makeup or boys, I'd rather roll over the mud and play tag with the guys becoming one of their own in some way. Never got interested over barbie dolls and becoming just like my mother. Instead of it, I connected more with my father, not in the father and son way like playing football. I got more attached to him because he introduced me to the world of videogames. - I'm Kumi and I'll be your guide.
